PlumbNation is one of the UK’s leading online distributors
of plumbing and heating products directly to the consumer.
The brainchild of entrepreneur Royden Evans, the
Wirral-based company continues to face ferocious competition from more
established businesses as well as younger ones entering the market.
To stay ahead, Royden needs to ensure his powerful ecommerce
site is as sophisticated as possible and houses the biggest possible selection
of products, but hired Mason Media to help spread the word to consumers through
national media.
Our approach
We provide PlumbNation with consumer and business PR support
and, during the past year, we have ensured that a regular supply of press
releases is hitting the media.
The two major objectives of the campaign are to build brand awareness
and help to drive sales to the website.
Our results
Extensive media coverage has been achieved in publications
including House Beautiful, At Home, Grand Designs magazine, Self builder and
Homemaker and Ideal Home. In addition, the company’s corporate profile has been
enhanced through regular stories and interviews in key national, trade and
regional business press.
PlumbNation is on course to turn over more than £16million this
year – up from £11.2million last year and £7.4million just two years ago.
The company has also recently taken more space at its Bromborough-based
office to provide it with the space it needs to continue its ambitious
expansion plans. A new website, mobile website, smartphone applications and
social media strategy are all about to be rolled out.
