Challenge
PDSA is reliant on donations and voluntary support to offer free veterinary care to the animals of those in need. In a crowded market, Mason Media has helped PDSA deliver standout stories that raise awareness for the charity and encourage ongoing donations.
Approach
Securing coverage across broadsheet and tabloid media to affirm the charity’s position on pet health, we launched Pet Fit Club to help animals that needed expert help losing weight with the help of PDSA vets.
Our work also unveiled the opening of the charity’s Ilford Pet Cemetery where graves of heroic pets are maintained. We also honoured the recipients of the Dickin Medal, the animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross.
Results
Our work has secured national press and broadcast coverage including BBC Breakfast News, BBC One Show, Sky News, the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and even reaching as far away as Winnipeg in Canada.
The Ilford Pet Cemetery work delivered coverage which was worth £500,000 in a single day. The event was featured on BBC’s The One Show, Radio Five Live, BBC Today programme, BBC News, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail and multiple regional broadcast and press outlets.
